My passion for photography began when I was young. I could always be found riding my bike with friends around the neighbourhood, often taking a small disposable camera with me to capture the action. We thought we were so extreme at the time but looking back, probably not so much.

Being a visual learner however, led me to studying photography and graphic design at school and later university where I studied a combination of Outdoor Education and Photography/Film making. Spending most of my time in the mountains of England, Scotland and Wales. It wasn’t until my early twenties that I moved to the coast and instantly fell in love with it.

During my twenties my camera found itself collecting dust as I was too busy travelling and working around Australia in the outdoor education scene. Until recently, when I found myself on a trip to Tasmania with my young family, the passion suddenly got re-ignited. Tasmania, being such a beautiful state, it was easy to be inspired and so at the start of 2023 I ramped up my efforts with dreams of creating a portfolio of my favourite place, the Surf Coast and Great Ocean Road.

I’m not entirely sure yet what my style of photography is, but I’m drawn to coastal landscapes, silhouettes of surfers and the dramatic moods of the ocean. But what I’m loving most about my photography at the moment is that I’m spending more time exploring our beautiful coastline than I ever have before and I hope you can join me and enjoy the journey too though my photos.

If you have any questions at all about my work, prints, collaborations please don’t hesitate to send me a message. I’d love to hear from you.
